CSP Certification
The following are requirements to earn recognition as a Certified Supervision Professional (CSP):
Prerequisites for attending a CSP training:

Hold one of the following:

Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)

Human Services-Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP)

Board Certified Coach (BCC)

Graduate degree (master’s/doctorate) in social sciences (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, management, human resources)

At least 300 hours of documented direct contact with clients or supervisees, as a helping professional, human resource specialist or manager

Participation to the 120-hour supervision training

Submission of the supervision portfolio and complete the practical evaluation

Adherence to a Code of Ethics

Application for the CSP certification
CSP is valid for three years.
CSP Maintenance
Being certified implies commitment to lifelong learning in order to maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and skills. To recertify after three years, a CSP needs to document:

60 hours of supervision provided to practitioners;
-
20 hours of continuous education pertaining to the supervision areas of competency (or related fields).
